FAQ
-
Q1: When should we replace focus lens and collimating lens?
When the cutting surface becomes rough or won't penetrate. you may need change focus lens.
-
Q2: Which focal length lens should I choose – 100mm, 125mm, or 150mm?
You need change your laer head label to confirm which focal length you are using.
Pls inquiry engineer first if you want to use different focal length to avoid unnecessary damage.
-
Q3: Why do your lenses cost more than other suppliers on Alibaba?
Good question. The price difference mainly comes from the coating quality and substrate material.
We use high grade Fused Silica, double-sided AR coating process, transmission > 99.8%
-
Q4: How should I install and clean the lens to avoid damaging it?
✅ DOs:
- Wear nitrile gloves – skin oils will burn into the coating
- Use lens tissue + reagent-grade acetone or ethanol (≥99.5%)
- Wipe in one direction (not back-and-forth) with light pressure
- Check the O-ring seal when re-installing – a damaged seal ruins the lens faster than anything else
- Mark the installation direction – the coated side usually faces the laser source (check your old lens or manual)
❌ DON'Ts:
- Never touch the optical surface with bare fingers
- Never use compressed air to blow dust off – it may contain moisture/oil
- Never reuse cleaning tissue
- Never over-tighten the retaining ring – finger-tight + ¼ turn is enough
🚨 Warning: Most lens failures are caused by improper cleaning or installation, not by the lens quality itself. We include a QR code in every package – scan it to watch a 2-minute installation video.
